CSCB Vulnerable Adolescents Thematic Review – Learning

Croydon Safeguarding Children Board (CSCB) recently undertook a thematic review on vulnerable adolescents following the separate deaths of three teenage boys during a four week period in the summer of 2017.

The purpose of the Thematic Review was to determine whether there were any patterns in the children’s experiences, including where they lived and went to school, their experiences of family care and the multi-agency services that were provided or offered. The intention was to learn from the children’s experiences to inform future service provision.

The review resulted in 5 key findings and 15 recommendations.
