Staying Safe Sub Group

The Staying Safe sub group was established in 2006, to strengthen links between the former Children and Young People’s Trust, Community Safety Partnership Team and Community and Voluntary Sector in order to promote a safer environment for children and young people in Brighton & Hove and to protect them from harmful risk and improve their personal safety.

However, the group has been without a permanent chair since 2009 and has not met regularly since 2010. As such, the future remit of this group is being considered in line with preventative work currently undertaken by other multi-agency groups operating in the city.
