This year, for National Safeguarding Day, we asked children & young people across the city to create images for us on key safeguarding concerns entitled either “The Dangers of Cyberbullying”, “A Day in the Life of a Young Carer” or “I am a Young Person with a Disability”.

We are delighted to say that first prize has been awarded to Scarlet, aged 10, from Stanford Junior School. She will be enjoying a day at Preston Circus Fire Station, and her picture will be used to show people working with Children & Young people how damaging words can be:

 

 

 

Second Prize, £25 of iTunes vouchers was awarded to Autumn from Downs Park School and Third Prize £15 worth of vouchers for arts materials was awarded to 10 year old Jacy from Downs Junior School:
